Sixteen turns ago, an expedition to the Far Western Continent went missing. The search party sent afterwards never found them; instead, they discovered the ruins of an ancient weyr—just in time for Thread’s unexpected return. The riders and handlers of Tempest Weyr must fight Pern’s ancient foe while unravelling the mystery surrounding their home.
